As with all cheap Chinese items sold at Revain, there are no instructions. You'd think this would be pretty easy, but unlike every other clip and adapter I've used, you have to leave a waterproof silicone coating *on*. don't tear it off So lesson learned, having already assembled my entire LED wire harness and ready to connect the power supply to these terminals. So I had to spend some of the LED to get a new silicone end. Then they don't slide under the pins unlike all the other clamps and adapters I've used. They are fixed by the strip. I finally have ONE and even then it seems a bit flimsy and I don't trust it. And God forbid the clips are closed. Once locked, it is nearly impossible to open again. So if you think everything is snapped in place and then pull a little to make sure there is a good connection and the LED strip pops out? Yes, go ahead and throw away this clip, you will never open it again. Guys if you need to open it give it to your wife or girlfriend. As long as she doesn't appreciate her nails and has Job's patience, give her about 30 minutes and she'll block one for you. But you owe her a manicure. I needed TWO connections. I went through all 10 packets and never got a reliable connection. NEVER buy them. Just buy a wire harness that has the connectors already soldered to the end and then cut the other end off so you have a bare wire to solder to the 4 wire cable from the power supply. Serious. Save time, money and frustration. These things are garbage!
