Our whole family has been looking for ways to shoot different types of videos. My wife loves to cook and everyone always wants to know how she does it. This is great for holding the phone so she can show off her skills in the kitchen. Also, my house is old and dark, so extra lighting was a must. The first thing that struck me when I received it was the good packaging. I kept the box to store the device when not in use. It even comes with a tripod-only carrying case if you plan on shooting videos outdoors where you may not need a light. I've tested it in most rooms in the house and used it in the garage. Also tried using it as a fill light outside on a very sunny day. With variable lighting, this has really helped in every situation I've tested so far. Overall this is a great solid block. The only issue I see is that if you have one of the very large blocks you will need a larger clip to hold your phone but mine is on the larger side and I have had no issues.
