I only used this to transfer a cassette to a computer and this little piece of hardware worked great. All I needed was a $6 Target plug that I plugged into my portable cassette player and I was able to transfer the music to my computer. I'm still trying to fix bugs in the software but I think it's more of a user issue as I'm not familiar with the musical jargon. I would have liked a more intuitive software for a beginner, but in general I think I should be able to easily burn my old tapes to CD.
