I swim an hour a day, 5 days a week, summer and winter. I get dizzy when I turn my head from side to side. For the last 20 years I have used every breathing mask/snorkel I could find. Before that I was a diver in Hawaii using different masks and breathing apparatus. Most of them work adequately, but this clogs the mouth of the pipe for an hour. I purchased the full face mask in April 2020 and have a few hundred hours of use and experience with it. The following comments are based on the following terms of my use. I either swim in a pool or in a calm freshwater lake with no open, wavy water. I have short hair and no beard. Using the mask size chart, I measured 5.0 inches, which is larger than the 4.7 on the chart, so I ordered L/XL. PROs: 1. One piece of equipment (plus air hose). 2. The largest viewing platform far and wide. 3. Sufficient ventilation for moderate loads. Cons: 1. The biggest problem is the tab that "locks" the air tube to the mask. Once the hose is in place, the tab must be pulled back to remove the hose. This creates bending stress on the tongue that will eventually cause it to break. At the same time, the tongue folds away from the tube with each use, making it difficult to close securely. 2. There is a spot on the O-ring where the tubing attaches to the mask. If the O-ring isn't perfectly seated, it's almost impossible to get the tongue to close the locking hole. 3. If the air hose falls even slightly below the waterline, water (a small amount) will enter the mask through the top of the faceplate. 4. No matter how tight or loose you tighten the straps or how high or low on your forehead you put the mask on, small drops of water will seep in and you will need to clean the mask every 5-10 minutes. 5. What annoys me What strikes me the most is how a face swimmer goes down, that's the angle of the air hose. If you look straight down at the current angle, the air tube will collide with the water and your breath will be blocked. As a result, I have to swim with my head and neck thrown back 5-10 degrees, resulting in a stiff neck. I would rate this device an 11 if the tongue/air tube attachment method could be improved (easy fix), the face seal would be thicker. /softer, to accommodate all the contours of the human face (big question), the air tube was tilted back 5-10 degrees and (doable). OPINION: 1. Protect the transparent mask from scratches. . Dry inside and out immediately after each use to keep it clean. 2. Minimize the frequency with which you remove the air tube to protect the tongue. Since I don't ride it more than 100 meters at the moment, I never take it off. 3. Although this is advertised as a "Double Air System," I keep my mouth closed and breathe in and out through my nose.
