Finally! I've been wearing Asics and New Balance to run for decades. (NB - decades). Then I added Asics about 17 years ago. If you want firm but slightly cushioned stability, I think the NB is best suited for deer and cow trails and small road work. The NB IS retains its feel, shape and comfort year after year. Asics seem to be everywhere - I've tried 3-3 identical shoes that I've worn/loved in the past and NONE were the same in material, product or fit. I recently arrived to try one. I need it for road works. Congratulations to NB for having at least one line of shoes that I can count on. 410, 510. Thank you my legs!
