Review on πŸ‘‘ CIOR Outdoor Sandals with Arch Support U119SLX022 - Women's Shoes (Black, Size 39A) by Diane Ferreira

Sole on shoe too flexible

This is the first real shoe (no slippers) I've had to buy online. I usually have to try on a dozen pairs before I buy one, but due to the pandemic, all stores were closed. I think these sandals are really good for something I could buy without trying them on, but I'm not 100% satisfied. I like that they are light and soft, don't cause blisters even after hours of walking, and look great with any outfit. The landing is a bit strange. The sizing (length) is most likely correct, but they appear to be too big in the front and too small in the back. The arch support is too far back, so while there is plenty of room between the toes and the front edge of the sandal (about 1.5-2 cm), the heel is flush with the back edge and probably even overhangs a few millimeters . . I can't easily move my foot forward, it slips back after a few steps due to the arch support. The soles are very flexible and that's actually a problem. Maybe it's my way of walking, but sometimes when I lift my foot to take a step, the toe touches the ground and the sole arches inside out and I stumble.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No machine
