They are good for cosplay, maybe even WW2 re-enactment, but definitely not for tourist purposes. This is the material regular pants are made of and they tend to snap at the rivet if pulled too hard. If you're looking for lace-up leg warmers that you can use for their intended purpose, then this isn't it, and you'd better look for legitimate WWII surplus. If you need something for a suit etc they are light weight and good looking.
