Everything is fine, I liked the product, I bought it for a reason.

It so happened that for many years I have been buying products (flash drives and external hard drives) exclusively from Transcend. And this is not an advertisement, it’s just time-tested.
There hasn't been a single crash yet. As I understand it, it’s more convenient to use external HDDs for watching from a TV, rather than flash drives, since the HDD automatically remembers where you finished watching,
where you finished watching, but alas, there is no flash drive.

Pros

I chose this particular model, since it has 3.1 Gen, and it is she who supports data transfer at a speed of 5Gb / s . but I haven’t really checked it yet. The previous model which has 3.0 provided an average speed of 250 Mb / s.

With its pros. Quiet, fast, almost no heat. Got cons: I gave out sector errors when checking in diagnostic programs, I will have to change it under warranty to another one in order to avoid data loss.

Different pros: High read / write speed, one cord is enough (I use only USB 3.0) Different cons: The full bandwidth of USB 3.0 is still a long way off.

Pros: Convenient, fast, relatively cheap With its cons. Not reliable, used exclusively for storing multimedia data. He lived for 2 years and at one fine moment ceased to be determined by the computer.
