These door stops are just what we needed for our healthcare facility. We didn't want the kick-down doors to look industrial and protrude out of the door, and the rubber wedge doorstops were a constant pain and trip hazard when not in use. You'll look perfect with our brushed nickel door hardware. The 3 screws supplied attach it to the door in just a few minutes. Step on the plunger to open the door and push the lever to release it. Works best on carpet or tile, you really have to step on it when using it on epoxy concrete floors and it leaves small scratches on VCT tiles. The only precaution I can offer is not to over tighten the screws - this will bind the mechanism and it will not release smoothly. I've done this on a few rigs and only had to back the screws off a half turn or so and it works like a champ.
