I bought them for various heavy kitchen jobs and light garden/yard jobs and chose them for their excellent rating. and low price in its category. These are NOT the thickest nitrile gloves you can buy and I would NOT recommend them for heavy duty work as they will tear under stress - but WOW! I have (and use) many different types of nitrile gloves and for their class and value they are excellent. After my first few uses for lighter jobs that didn't have any crashes or runaways, I decided to stress test them by wearing a pair for a greenhouse project that involved working with lots of tools, manually mixing lots of soil and coming to my senses. Contact with a large number of objects that previously destroyed thin nitrile gloves. and yes, they broke under that stress, but they did NOT break. There was a coin-sized tear at the base of my left index finger. I've used more expensive (and even thicker) nitrile gloves that didn't work as well as these. These gloves will most likely become a regular part of my Revain subscription.
