All purpose - my new review

I bought to go under a table cloth, but after I put it on the table I liked it so well that I decided to dispense with tablecloth covering and just use the table pad--it is white and brightens up the room. I have only used for just over a week, so I don't speak definitively about heat resistance and durability, or even ease of cleaning spills that would be expected to stain. All in all, it is a much better alternative than trying to preserve the walnut table top from all the possible encroachments!
