It's becoming harder and harder to find number 6 vinyl mattress pads with a zipper. I was so happy to meet her. In some reviews I was concerned that they are thin. However, what I received was thicker vinyl that I have been buying for years. They are FULLY WATERPROOF which I needed as my young grandchildren are often with us. In the event of an accident, our mattresses are fully protected. I am also worried about whether the product will have an odor. Smells trigger my asthma. Luckily, upon opening the box, there was only a faint smell of new vinyl. I unwrapped the lid, placed it on the patio furniture, and when I went to get it a few hours later, the smell was gone. I am very comfortable!
