They were cheap compared to the dealer price. They are slightly lighter than the original keychain. The buttons have a nice feel and there's no Mini Cooper badge in the middle. I programmed them at a locksmith near my house who specializes in programming key fobs. It took him about 15 minutes to program and cut both keys. A few weeks later I had to replace the CAS module because it failed in the heat outside. A new CAS module was installed and the programmed keys also worked with the new module. Pretty good deal. It's good to have a spare key.
