This is a good combination, ready to use. The headphones are already connected to channel A of the AudiKast, and once you've connected the transmitter (both power and audio) you're done. Channel B of the transmitter remains free and you can connect to another device (a Bluetooth speaker in my case). Small LED indicators show the channel connection as well as the type of connection (which is both encouraging and absent from previous Priva transmitters). affects the connected device of another channel. For example, I could remove the bluetooth speaker on channel B and plug in another headset without affecting the headset I know is already plugged into channel A. You also get all the connection cables and only need a 5V USB power supply, which is plenty these days. If you want your TV remote to work with a connected Bluetooth device (i.e. instead of messing with the volume on a connected Bluetooth headset/speaker), you should pair it with your TV headset. With modern televisions, the difference in quality compared to an optical source is hardly noticeable; However, if you connect the transmitter to the optical audio output, your TV remote will not turn down the volume of the sound coming into the transmitter, and you will then have to use the list device's volume controls. Sound quality could be a bit better here, but I still prefer the convenience of plugging into the headphone jack. Even if you have headphones plugged into your TV, most modern TVs allow you to switch between TV speakers and headphones, or both (without actually unplugging that jack), via the TV's audio settings menu. The headphones are quite comfortable. for extended use, and the battery life is great, and I think the two bulges on the neckband are batteries that promise 20 hours of battery life (although I didn't use them for 20 hours to test this). Charging is easy and clearly visible thanks to the red LED. I've made this a little more versatile by including a magnetic micro-USB connector and cable, meaning the micro-USB connector won't wear out over time. I haven't noticed any sync lag with my TV programs, so I think APTx works with low latency. Durability? Well, it looks solid, but those are early days. Care must be taken that the wires/insulation in the cable will still be strong over time. To do this, you definitely need to use it regularly for several months.
