Lots of pockets . . . on all four sides. One of the long sides has a zipper pocket. A loop on the top functions as a quick handle to remove the cover before use.Feels and looks well made and I l-o-v-e the print and feel of the fabric. My only slight disappoint is the main background color is a light yellowish brown and I would have much preferred a white background personally to better match my new kitchen. Oh . . . It is covering my 5.5 quart Cuisinart mixer so if you are wondering if if will fit a 5 qt or 5.5 qt stand mixer I would definitely lean to the "yes" side.
