I fell in love with this hammock's colors and design, and after reading the reviews, I bought this, the hammock straps, and the bug net to create my own little cocoon to work in. The hammock is sturdy and has plenty of fabric for me to stretch out diagonally in (I'm 5'4' and 130 lb.), and the stitching is high quality. I see no reason for it to buckle under heavier weight with the quality of the material and sewing.I would however definitely suggest others to invest in the straps--they remind me of motorcycle tow straps in their construction, have quality stitching, are extremely easy to set around trees/posts, and don't require knot tying (something I'm terrible at).
