Not what I expected. I wanted a simple, easy to use and easy to install zipper to quickly and easily replace a zipper mechanism that has become detached from clothing and other items that open. This "kit" is not for beginners who want to quickly fix a broken zipper (like these new "pull up" zippers). I had a backpack with a zipper that just broke and I wanted to replace it. But the only way to attach these zippers is to attach them to the zipper itself BEFORE attaching the entire zipper (which defeats the purpose). If you need to sew on the entire zipper mechanism, why sew on a single zipper mechanism? You might as well replace the whole thing or take it to a tailor and have it done professionally. If you have basic sewing and sewing skills, this set is for you. If you're just looking for a kit that offers a quick and easy fix for a broken zipper, this kit will disappoint and be almost useless.
