The new brush only has one threaded hole, which isn't a problem as the brush shouldn't last that long. The width of the wit as well as the length of the bristles. My beard got longer in a few days. Nearly. Once this product is dry, it will be sent to a UPS store for return. If your time is worth something, look for a better product at local hardware.
