I have a miniature donkey. I have an older model (a few years ago) of this blanket and I LOVE it. Size 44 " is mine the donks warmed up perfectly and kept warm in our sub-zero temperatures in colorado the minis have turned a bit brown and now they need a slightly larger size i measured a couple of times and then ordered that size when i got the comforters them fits A LOT.Strap barely fit under my ass' belly in the loosest position but the neck was incredibly wide open The back of the head fits right back, one of them was hanging off the floor I couldn't even think of anything that would work I would be in Okay with "not perfect but workable" I double checked to make sure I measured correctly and a miniature selection ordered r blankets. Yes, I ordered and measured everything correctly, had to send it back. I'm very disappointed because the old version was SO perfect and cut so much better. I contacted the company and they just recommended I go with their filly blanket but the blanket doesn't look like it would fit the body of a chunky mini donkey, also it doesn't have any straps it's all velcro, which doesn't last long. . So sad.
