I bought a set of these for my kids 11 months ago because they can kill cords in less than a month by trying to drag them across a room and locking them in car doors, throwing them across the floor and stepping on them instead of lifting them, etc. I gave each child two strings and kept the other one for myself. Of the five cables, only two broke at about the same time this week. One would just stop loading if not held in a certain position and the other was forcibly removed from the computer because my kid was trying to stretch it further in space than it could stretch and the real plug fell apart. I'm seriously impressed they've lasted this long when my kids are so hard on cords. Even though we still have the other three, I'm happy to order them again so we have backups.
