It has an odor, but it's a good belt.
I like the belt, but I can't get rid of the smell of tannins and paint. Washed 3 times with saddle soap, Murphy's Oil soap and used silicone waterproofing spray and it still smells. Also put in the sun for 6 hours. The belt is well made.

- Fits great and is very durable
Cons
- The small size should be about 2 sizes larger than your normal belt if you are ordering an otherwise decent belt for the money.
