disappear I bought these as school uniform pants for my 7 year old daughter. She is tall and thin, weighing about 50 pounds and 4 feet 4 inches tall. Most uniform trousers in their size (37) fit perfectly in the waist but are too short. Size 8 pants are too big in the waist. may grow into it but they fit perfectly! We didn't adjust the waist at all and there is about 0.5 inch of extra material at the hem. Perfect, there is room to grow! I will definitely buy more in the future.
