Review on Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 225/65 R17 102S winter by Bogusawa Paw ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the price and the quality are both ok.

We are discussing V1, not V2 at this time. Dimension 265/65R17. I spent four years away from home and travelled almost 80,000 kilometers at that time. I will make a reservation as soon as possible because I have used it to drive on asphalt during the entire year in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Region, and I am not expecting a miracle to occur. I take my driving very seriously and am quite cautious. After roughly forty thousand miles, the lamellas were totally "gone." After another twenty, the wear got close to the "it's time to change" mark. As a result, by eighty thousand miles, the tire had reached a critical level of wear (cracks started to emerge, and the tread was less than two millimeters). The tires are not terrible in general because a big vehicle with all-wheel drive performs admirably on every paved road, including those that are wet and icy, and it also performed admirably on snowy roads. There was not the slightest indication of aquaplaning at any point. When I replaced the Blizzak tires with A/T tires, I was very startled to find that the noise coming from the wheels was essentially unaffected by the change. In a nutshell, somewhere between 3 and 4, but leaning more toward 4.

Pros
  • Road holding that is satisfactory regardless of the weather. And this is the crux of the matter.
Cons
  • Rapid wear Noisy? (in comparison) Captures holes with relative ease
