Hard water in our area is so hard you can feel the rocks. I have very sensitive skin and this water causes bumps and itches. I like bathing in hot water to relieve bone and muscle pain and also helps me sleep at night. This did not happen with unconditioned water. This product makes water look like silk. The conditioning is so thorough I have a hard time getting bubbles out of the bubble bath. This is normal as the soap foams very well in this water. My skin is soft and without pimples. I don't have to use lotion if I don't want to. This bath salt has very little fragrance but is compatible with any other additive you add to your water.
