The toy is broken - choking hazard

Select. These toys are very cute, but one of them almost broke after the first use (my baby is only 4 months old). As you can see in the picture, the end of the piece broke off and the balls inside fell out. This is an obvious choking hazard and I understand that any toy (especially one that rattles) poses this risk, but I am very concerned that this piece broke after so little (and careful) use.
