Don't expect $100 or more quality here. It took several minutes for this and that to have an impressive effect. This is the same tool I've been buying from US General for years. These tools rarely work without fine-tuning. To do this, it was necessary to forcefully loosen the adjustment nut and then pivot the pin so that it clicks. on prints that are not watchmaker precision, but you don't pay a 5-figure amount for that either. If you need accuracy within 0.01 inch, this tool can do it for you if you have an optic that lets you see it well. I found it necessary to do a little tuning before actually doing the work. It's worth the time, so smile when you get it working, as well as one that costs ten times as much.
