I have had several pairs of thin readers and judging by this pair they were my least favorite. Despite being thin and with a protective case that attaches to my phone case, they only lasted 48 days. The gap in the middle is due to the plastic bridge, which only has a few bends. I've been careful (from experience with others) not to overdo it with these glasses. Putting them in and taking them out of the case every day is enough and they break in a short time. The ribs on the frame help keep the goggles on the nose, but I felt that wasn't enough. I had to adjust my glasses every few seconds when I wore them. The price was good, but not when they last less than two months.
