This was my first time painting my nails with gel polish. I was extremely pleased with this set. It had every single thing I needed. I think it turned out pretty good for a beginner. I did do 60 seconds twice for each coat, but I was just being extra cautious. Next time I’ll follow the instructions and try 60 seconds a coat. The lamp seems to work pretty well to me but I have nothing to compare it to. If you buy this set I would make sure you have stuff on hand to remove gel polish down the road, you will need that later. If you’re a beginner like myself then you will definitely appreciate this gel set, it’s such a great value and you get so much stuff.
