This light is actually quite bright, especially for the price. However, this is the only positive in this light. There are three flashing modes to choose from (the list says two modes) and you almost have to grab the switch at the end of the cigarette lighter plug (it's a very old style) to change modes. In the status list, hold down the power button for a few seconds, but that had no effect on the light I got. Instead, I had to press multiple times very quickly to do the mode change, and then I found that this light doesn't have "last flash mode memory" so if you like the flash pattern, that's the third setting, every time you do turning it off and on again, you will need to scroll through all the modes to get to your preferred mode. The power cord is twisted, short (doesn't reach my roof when plugged into a 2011 F-150) and very thin, more like a toy and I doubt it will last very long with repeated use. The magnets are very weak and are covered in what appears to be a piece of adhesive-backed vinyl (which most handymen and sign companies use) that just presses directly onto the magnets, but isn't big enough to actually seal that part of the world . Although there is a rubber gasket between the light and the dome, because the bottom of the case that the magnets attach to doesn't have a proper cover but is a dull piece of vinyl that's too small, I wouldn't count on that for real. any water resistance other than those listed. Maybe "weatherproof" but definitely NOT waterproof as advertised. The manufacturer could have had a really good light if they hadn't gone for something so cheap, which is sad. I hope they realize their issues with this light and make the necessary updates, but until then I strongly encourage you to look further and cannot recommend it. Since there wasn't a single issue that the seller was able to fix, I returned mine for a full refund. I hope this helps and wish you all the best of luck, take care.
