I just bought a 30 foot telescoping pole for my floating dock (I live on the canal and Delaware River and use the floating dock to to get to land for cycling and exercising and the river bank). The telescopic rod is VERY strong! I have a 16ft case from Lowe's or Home Depot and it feels flimsy in comparison (it worked great but this one is just more reliable). However, the weight of a 30ft foot does not double! So I think it's a good post in general. Attachments are additions I received for my home. We have 3 floors with windows (there are a lot of them), including the attics. With a 30ft pole I'm hoping to reach them all to clear the outer glass and debris. The house has painted cedar siding and a cedar roof, so stairs and an inexperienced guy like me will do it all. this is dangerous (for me) and I can cause costly damage to old, heavily exposed side panels that is not only expensive but also difficult to replace.
