I originally bought this item because it was one of the first products with a decent review and price when I was looking for reusable bean straws in 2018. You know, if I had just waited a few months stores and online stores almost everywhere would start selling actual reusable bob straws. OK. The product itself was great. It was thick, strong and the colors were so cute. I tried cutting off the ends of the straws to make a point so the straws could be used when retrieving the bean, but because they were so thick they were very difficult to trim and the edges were a bit jagged at the end. I smoothed them lightly with sandpaper and then washed them, which worked very well. I use about half bean straws and half milkshake straws, but I would only recommend them as milkshake straws for those who will be buying them in the future.
