I'm just glad it works.

Do you understand how startled I was when everyone said that computer components were dead on arrival and especially to hear that this one could be dead on arrival too! I just had to test this before plugging everything in. It worked. And finally, when it came time to put my computer back together, I thought it was broken, but I just discovered that I hadn't hooked everything up correctly. When I didn't, everything went smoothly! Now I don't have a power supply plugged directly into the wall, nor an extension cord. I ran it through some sort of conduit that comes with my PC case before it connects to the power strip, so I think that might be why it's working. I needed this amount of power for my system as I have a 4k 3060 DVD burner, an Elgato 4k60 Pro internal capture card, a dedicated water cooling loop, multiple RGB inputs and an LED powered heatsink. I haven't finished buying the components yet, but let's hope I'm not exaggerating because I think this power supply is expensive.
