The color is a nice deep blue (royal blue, not deep blue under the tank.

This is aquarium gravel so it sits on the bottom of the tank but is otherwise not very useful. The color is a nice dark blue (royal blue, not deep blue under aquarium lights) I love it in my aquarium because it gives depth to the colors with the plants there.
