They are perfect for my 9 year old. Although I assume that they can get a little tight up to 12 years. Very cool look and light weight. But they remove fingerprints immediately. Even though a cleaning cloth is included in the box, it's a bit difficult to get a child to feel comfortable without constantly leaving fingerprints on the lens. My other criticism is that while the manufacturer's packaging looks very luxurious, it is a bit over the top. I prefer less plastic in the environment, so an Amazon box, a product cylinder body, a cloth bag, a plastic bag around glasses, a plastic bag around a glasses temple, and a cleaning cloth in another plastic bag — well, that's just a little bit more wasteful than I use it to be wish, and it seems like I'm digging through some Russian matryoshka dolls just to get a pair of kid's glasses that are likely to get lost or broken quickly.
