All functions work, but you cannot replace a real air conditioner. Display only degrees Celsius.

Everything works as it should. Adjustments for lighting, oscillation and fan speed, and constant or intermittent water settings work as detailed in the manual. There is no mention of changing the display to degrees Fahrenheit. So if you're in a country where this is the standard, the temperature reading won't be as meaningful or clear. It came with a USB cable, but I would have liked it to be a little longer than the one that came with it. How cool is that? It depends on several factors. Like a fan, it releases enough air to keep you feeling cooler. In this respect, it is comparable to other USB-powered personal fans. An additional cooling effect through water cooling is difficult to quantify. For evaporative cooling to be effective, the ambient air must have a low relative humidity. Moist air is already saturated and inhibits any evaporation (and any cooling effect). So if you use them in a humid environment like a coastal area or a wooded area, you are unlikely to experience any additional effects from the water cooling. However, I tested this in a small RV in a dry climate (25% humidity) and it didn't seem to lower the overall temperature in the RV at all. Keep in mind that this camper is much smaller than a typical home bedroom. When the device blows directly at you, it appears colder than the surrounding air. But just being in the same enclosed space with the device doesn't seem to lower the ambient temperature.
