Bought to replace the onboard tool kit for my RV. It replaced an old metal tool box with the same external dimensions. The first thing that struck me was that it couldn't match what the old box was doing, so I had to leave a few tools behind. I thought that having an organizer in the lid would be a plus. What they actually do is reduce the internal volume and top clearance so much that when there is SOMETHING in the top shelf, it's almost impossible to successfully open the lid on the first try. (The top tray sits on four flimsy plastic mounts that are also almost impossible to hit on the first try.) Everything is held in place by a single plastic latch that doesn't always seem to latch securely. It hasn't actually broken yet, but there's no way to check it'll hold up before you pick up the toolbox after your six attempts to fully close the lid. Overall this is the worst product I have ever tried. Bought from Stanley. In my experience, stanley meant simple but reliable. I would have sent it back but unfortunately I had to use it to find out what type of turkey it was.
