I bought this ring for two reasons. Firstly I wanted a spectacular copper thumb ring which I connected with another thin band and secondly for pain relief. I have osteoarthritis in both fingers. The pain is pretty bad and I think this ring helped. I haven't taken it off since I bought it, so I can't really tell how I feel without wearing it, but I can confirm that the stabbing pains I used to have regularly are now less common in my left hand. My right thumb still hurts, but I don't have a copper ring on that finger yet. But I shower, wash dishes and do other household chores with this ring so that my hands always have enough water. The color has remained unchanged. It's very pretty and feminine. Until almost 3 months later. Excellent purchase.
