Not great, but not bad either. It works out! Eventually I will replace it. The white is uncomfortable for the eyes. But back then I bought an LG (which was great) but the displayport kept burning. A $1200 purchase that is NONE and costs $280 to top up the POS. Bought as a replacement and serves its purpose. Added some darker themes to Netbeans, and the encoding is pretty good. It's not as pretty as LG. Viewsonic has better color/balance models. But I wasn't in the mood to shell out another 1000+ for a monitor that could blow AGAIN. Very happy with the performance for the price. I've had about half a dozen Viewsonic displays ranging from CRTs to LCDs. Most have worked well. Some of the CRTs started buzzing after a short while. RMA was easy. Yes, that was 10 years ago. Maybe it's different now. I hope I don't have to find out.
