I purchased the 39 inch "heavy duty” desk and being used in a small room as a small work desk.Assembly:It’s an inexpensive starter desk, so you may find a few small dents and dings but I didn’t find any major issues with mine. Make sure you use the correct fasteners for each part. The screws come in individually labeled zip bags with two Allen wrenches. Pay close attention as you fasten the crossbars because if not you may dent the legs. They should be tight enough so the crossbar doesn’t spin but not so tight that you seriously dent the legs. The fasteners for the crossbars went in smooth enough except for one. That one was tough and somewhat stripped the paint off the bolt, as show in one of the images. That was the biggest problem I encountered. Don’t be afraid to handle the legs a bit to get them set straight. Be sure to put the legs in the correct spots otherwise the crossbar holes won’t match up.Overall it’s a great small starter desk. I found a few small dings in the legs, but no issues at all with the top. The white specks you see in the images are styrofoam.
