These shoes definitely run at least 1/2 size smaller, tried 10.5 but they were too small and chafed red marks on feet around big toe. Went up 1/2 to try again **Update** Tried 11.5 but same problem - too narrow in foot - had red marks on top of toe box on foot - came back again and won't be ordering this style again. It's a shame - I really liked the look of the shoes
