Works very well. - Car Care Product

I use it to wash furniture. This works very well. For example, my bed's headboard is made of natural linen, and it got very dirty after leaning our heads against it for almost a decade. We've considered buying a new bed, although we really like this one - it looks very nice and isn't cheap. We tried washing it with dishwashing shampoo, baby shampoo, steam cleaning, but to no avail. Nothing worked. We started shopping but couldn't find another bed that we liked as much as our current one. I saw this shampoo and wasn't sure as it appears to be marketed for use in car upholstery. Thought I'd give it a try and invest $10 in a 16 ounce bottle to save our bed. I am impressed. One application and the headboard looked like new. Not even a strong application, a standard 10:1 dilution or even less - whatever the label says. And after I cleaned it, I used a store-bought brush for cleaning car wheels, which I wanted to use to get the dirt off my backhoe. It's $3 at the surplus and recycling store. The bristles were a little soft (it was the only relatively large new/clean brush I had at the time), but it seemed to work well. Maybe they should be soft. Ditto for the side rails which had 10 year old sweat stains from my feet from a hot summer (no air conditioning). Like new. Do what the label says: grab a brush, grab a spray bottle, dilute with water, spray, brush, rinse with a microfiber towel, use a couple of towels to scrub roughly dry. (let the sun do the rest). Also our soft chairs and soft sofa cushions. They also look good but have never been as dirty as the bed. Looks like I only used 2 or 3% bottles of everything. If I shampoo my furniture every 10 years, one small bottle should last for the next 300-400 years (remember to rinse well and dry upholstery quickly: shampoo midsummer midday on the hottest/sunniest day and let dry in the sun). drying work)

Pros
  • Corrodes and removes stubborn stains
Cons
  • Not bad
