The fan is very quiet, which I'm really surprised and happy about. I expected it to be too loud. The blue light isn't as distracting as I thought, just enough to tell you there is blue light, but not at all distracting in the dark. The fans don't blow air very quickly or much, but they create enough air to circulate under my laptop to get the job done. I just needed something to hold between my knees and the laptop because the lack of airflow was causing it to overheat. and this product works absolutely perfect for the price i paid. It's also lightweight and very portable. My only complaint is that it looks very mechanical. As an aesthetic, it's not very attractive.
