Genuine Canon toner cartridges are so expensive that I wanted to find an acceptable "generic" alternative. About a year ago I tried a set of cartridges from another manufacturer and they seemed to work fine for about half a year, but then streaks and stains started appearing, although the capacity was reported to still be in the 70% range. After some research on the internet I decided to try this set of True Image cartridges. After two months, the print quality is still excellent. But as a restricted user, I hope they will be released for another year. From what I remember they cost about 25-30% of the cost of Canon branded cartridges. Even if they wear out a little sooner, they're still reasonably priced. Installation was very easy. Now only time will tell. My printer is a Canon imageCLASS MF731Cdw.
