“Waterproof” Is Wishful Thinking at Best
Bought this because of the diamond plate finish and the positive reviews. The very first line of the description is "Waterproof… prevents water pooling on griddle top”. Lo and behold, I checked this morning after rain last night and half the griddle top was covered in water. I’m guessing it leaked through the rivets on the top, but it’s hard to tell for sure. Coupled with a bit of poor QC on the corners, I would recommend looking elsewhere for a Blackstone cover.
- This lid is light weight and fits by grill nicely.
- The lid may be difficult to clean
