My wife bought them and I wanted to do some more research but she bought them before I even thought of them. At first I was concerned that depending on the price they would be rubbish. However, so far they have worked very well. I have yet to spend time testing their range. In general, the stated range is the best-case scenario and should not be expected in a real-world use case, so it's important to have reasonable expectations. We mainly used these three walkie-talkies while camping and they may have worked well for that. Cons: Terrible documentation. The main problem is that although we can block the channel, we accidentally change the channel and therefore lose the connection.
