Review on SUPAREE Inches Headlights Signal Wrangler by John Bennett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They look great, as do high and low beams

Updated 3/26/17: This description fits the 2006 Jeep Wrangler Tj 4.0L 6 Speed. Today I had more time to read a number of customer comments on several forums regarding the installation of these headlights. In order to install them and get the greatest possible functionality, I had to make some compromises. It is not possible to get DRLs with white HALO signals and amber signals without headlights on. Halo does not work on high beam. I wanted the DRLs to be white with no headlights while retaining the Amber Halo functionality. So that the Halo DRL is white AND the yellow/yellow halo signals work properly. Connect as follows: The red wire connects/connects to the low beam wire on the headlight connector. The low beam is the middle/middle port of the three. Yellow/Green wire connected to front turn signal wire on each side (left and right separately).1. This gives a white halo when the headlights are on. 2. Signals will turn amber/amber on activation, then turn back to white on deactivation (2 second delay). I disabled the halo feature when the headlights are on. Main beam and daytime running lights with headlights off. Today it took me about 4 hours of research and trial and error troubleshooting. I give it a rating of 4/5 as so much work would not have been necessary if the manufacturer had included the correct instructions. I don't like doing someone else's work for her. Good luck folks. These headlights are very good once you understand how they work for your vehicle. Installed my '06 Tj Wrangler "X" in a few hours, slowly so as not to lose a single headlamp housing bolt. Canbus (caps) were not needed. The DRLs screw into the position lights on the outer fender. They look great, as do the high and low beams. I could not get the signals to flash amber through the halo when connected to the front or side signal light. The halo flashes white but not amber. WTF? The red wire is for the DRL parking lights and the green wire is for the signal lights. It should have been that easy, but it isn't. 4/5 due to the lack of a yellow signal and due to the fact that there were practically no installation instructions.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • The list goes on.
