Great light for the price, easy install.

Let’s see, let’s start with the likes.PROS1. Great light for the money, good value.2. Thin profile, only about 1/2” thick.3. Nice and bright4. Easy mounting and installation.CONS1. Only thing I could think of is better hardware. Would be nice to see stainless hardware.I have ordered three sets of these lights and have had this style of light for quite a few years. For the price they are a great light. I used to have a pair mounted to my rear bumper for backing on to a trainer and a set in the bed of my truck on a backpack for cargo loading and unloading. I live in the rust belt so if these are exposed to salt they will corrode after a while which is to be expected. The only real issues has been hardware. I throw away the bolts that come with it as they are the typical add Chinese hardware and I replace it with stainless hardware. If you live in the salt I would recommend that you use anti seize on the large bolt that slides through the light because if you don’t it will corrode in there right and will not be able to get it out. It looks like they are trying to fix this with the newer style as the mounting place for the long bolt has been cut out to help them with the corrosion issues. I am a little concerned as to the long term strength of the mounting as they have taken a lot of metal out to help with this issue but makes the mounting not quite as sturdy. So currently I run a set facing forward on my brush guard for off-road driving or late night operations. Second set in mounted rearward for hooking up my cargo trailer at night. Third set I bought for my dad to do the same for his truck.Overall I say great lights as long as you are not expecting a RECON $200 set of lights for $19. Probably will be back to purchase some more.

Pros
  • Used these on my boat for Bowfishing, small but bright. Works well!
Cons
  • Could drain battery if left on for long periods of time

I bought these for a tractor/snowblower and they work great and are bright. I have them kinda pointed down as not to cause too much reflection but I think they would shine out a good distance. At 15 feet they have a spot like center to the beams and less side illumination. You can still see very good on the sides though.
