Should have gone longer for 5/16 " electric fence
Bought these to attach a 5/16" electric fence to wood posts. While they would work well for smaller diameter wires (1/16 to 1/8 inch diameter), mine had a plastic insulator and was 5/16 inch in diameter. In fact, they are not long enough for that. Poorly. Then I found some 1-3/4 inch suspenders that fit better and also had nicks. They were more suitable. There's nothing wrong. I have many of these in a Β£5 box.
