I bought these bulbs to add some unique lights of different sizes to my pre-lit Christmas tree. The globes themselves are great: transparent and smooth with air bubbles just like in the advert. I've included images of them on a Christmas tree in color and warm white modes, as well as a fully decorated Christmas tree. My tree is a 7 foot tree with a 3.5 foot base and I got pretty good coverage by wrapping it all the way around. So if you use it for this purpose, your mileage may vary depending on the size of your tree. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that while it's a solid warm white at max brightness, it blinks randomly if you turn the brightness down a notch, it stays that way the whole time should. and it's still very bright. I don't know if that's a problem in general, but it's definitely an odd strand feature I have.
