In fact, they were exactly what I expected and they work even better than I thought they would. Excellent value for money, at least for now I think. Cutting the hole to the right size took some time, but whatever, just cut out the hole and enlarge it until it fits 🤷🏻‍♂️. It's just shitrok. The hardest thing was climbing into the attic and laying the wire, but in general everything works fine. I built a handy box with outlet to connect the power supply, put a small amp or driver in the attic between the boards and connected plus and minus and it's great. I hooked it up to my lights so the speakers only turn on when the lights are on. I'm not the kind of person who's ever sat in a bathtub with candles on. The only downside to hooking it up to the headlights is that it emits a few short beeps every time it turns on, but that doesn't let Bluetooth stay connected when I'm away, so that's fine. And if you have multiple devices connected to the speakers and you've connected it to the Switch, like mine, then it'll connect to the device that's closest. No damage from water or condensation or anything from showering. The assembly is done in the old way and was not a problem. I will add another speaker on the other side soon. Fits exactly as I would expect for watching/listening to YouTube, TV or podcasts in the shower. There is also no lag from video to audio. They have a bit of bass depending on the song when listening to music, but overall it's mids. Not subs and not high. Overall a great speaker, especially for the price. Of course, if you're obsessed with quality sound then you shouldn't go for them and overspend on speakers rather than getting value for money like these. Would recommend to others.
